Overall a wonderful experience at Hampton Inn in Effingham. We travel as a family for work, and the hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our king-bedroom suite was ready early and very clean! The bed was nice and comfortable and even the sofa bed was squishy and kid-approved. We loved the beautiful pool area- well stocked with towels and again very clean. The hot tub was a perfect temperature and the pool is also heated to a nice comfortable temperature. The outside patio was a nice treat, we enjoyed the sun. Breakfast in the mornings was just lovely. Hot and fresh food, constantly maintained by very friendly staff who clearly work hard to keep it so. Front desk staff was exceptional in their service, and beyond accommodating; every bit as gracious in their help as they were friendly. Housekeeping staff was also a joy to interact with- they joked with the kids and always had a smile.

Clean room, nice service, lots of restaurants around the hotel. Only ding I would give them is that the maid missed emptying a garbage can, so we had a full garbage in our room when we arrived.

We stay at this hotel at least twice a year. The staff is very friendly rooms are always very clean. Housekeeping always helps out if you need something extra. Sara does a great job and makes sure the guest are happy. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thanks

Room was clean, AC unit works, lady at the front desk was nice, the gym has weights that go above 50 pounds and other staff people seem happy too. Will definitely tell the travel manager of my company to use this place for other employees traveling through this town.

This was a really good Hampton Inn. It was exceptionally bright especially in the dining area. Everything was clean. The service was also very good and all of the employees I interacted with were very nice. The location was also very good. Lots of restaurants and gas options. There’s also shopping nearby.

We loved this Hampton Inn in Effingham on our trip west. It is one of the nicest, cleanest and close to lots of places to eat. Especially would like to give thank you to the front desk and Michelle in particular. She was great and extremely helpful and helped make our stay memorable.

Sarah John is intuitive beyond my imagination! Please promote her. I’ll tell you why. I forgot my hair tie and not wanting to go to a store I asked the front desk for a rubber band. To my disbelief she said, “I have no rubber bands.” What office doesn’t have one rubber band? Then to throw me even further off guard she asked if a hair tie will do. Unused she was casually carrying in her purse. Happen chance? NO! This lady is prepared for anything that comes her way. She is deserving for so much more. An asset to any company and a light to the world! Hilton she’s the reason there’s Hilton Honors!
